108 Basic Flow

This meditative flow covers fundamentals of yoga postures and movements on the spine in a slow and gentle way. Join us on the mat with an open heart and a willingness to try new things. Modifications and variations of poses are given subject to the individual’s condition. Although 108 Basics is a physical practice, it is also a deeply spiritual journey that different aspects of yoga will also be introduced, for instance pranayama (breathing techniques), kriyas (purification techniques), mudras (hand gestures) and meditation.

Dharma Yoga

All levels – Suitable for everyone
Featuring Sri Dharma Mittra’s Shiva Namaskara Vinyasa series, this meditative yet challenging yoga sequence thoroughly covers movements including balances, twists, stretches, back bends and inversions. With a focus on good health, a clear mind and a kind heart, come play with a willingness to try new things. A purifying deep healing relaxation and breathing practice will also be introduced. Throughout the Practice, you are encouraged to go within, and to go deeper into the practice in a meditative and spiritual way. All is within.

 

Dharma Yoga Wheel

The yoga wheel is an amazing tool for all types of practitioners in our modern-day living. First being created by the Yoga Legend Sri Dharma Mittra, the yoga wheel aids practitioners, not just in yoga, but in all disciplines in warming up and eventually moving safely into deep stretching poses. This class is suitable for students that would like to explore poses to release tensions and muscular tightness in back, chest, shoulders, abdomen and hip flexors.Practitioners will learn poses with the wheel to correct alignment with safety.The class also develops core strengthening and stability, flexibility and balance. No experience and knowledge on the wheel is required. Fundamental techniques of the wheel will be introduced.

 

 

 

108 Stretch

This class focuses on stretching specific muscles or muscle groups to improve flexibility, reduce pain, and promote healing.  

 

 

Pranayama & Meditation

Meditation is an art and is also an exercise on the mind. Pranayama, yogic breathing will be introduced in the guided meditation session, through which one will also work on various breathing exercises that lead to equanimity. Experiences of deep relaxation and clarity on the mind will come with regular practice. Through meditation one also purifies the physical body as well as revitalizes the mental body. Some basic relaxation physical postures may be introduced.
